hi I bought the imagitarium fresh water uv purified water for my betta,s. Is this good water for them and does it have the nutrients they need? thank you
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.

My pet fish recently got sick and I am sure it is fin rot. His color is turning pale and his fins seem to be falling off and getting shorter. He also twitches and swims aggressively sometimes. I have been using betafix for 2 days now (I pour 9 drops in his bowl) but I now want to use melafix since it specially mentions to use when fish have fin rot. Should I change his water first or wait a few days before switching medicine? I am also not sure how much of the Melafix to pour in his bowl. Thanks

My male betta fish has been in its 3 gallon tank for close to a month, today it was at bottom of the tank and is very slow. There is white fuzz behind its fins and at end of tail. Tail looks split too. There is a snail in the tanks as well and a small live plant. The temperature is around 78 degrees Fahrenheit. One of my goldfish has fin rot. I just relocated them in a new tank (they were in a bad tank with bad water before, they have backstory that’s not important right now) with new water and all that, I only noticed the fin rot after relocating them.
