Hello, I have a betta and I'm sure he has moderate fin rot. Thing is I have him in a 1.1 bowl because I broke my bigger 2.5 gal tank. I just purchased imagitarium aquarium salt for my betta. I have never used aquarium salt before and It says on the label that I can combine it with sprinkling in a little bit of food once a day. When I change the water in my fish tank, after I add the appropriate amount of conditioner, a white fuzz seems to appear on all the objects in my tank, aside from the fish. I got a new betta in January, and I'm starting to notice that his tail is fraying a bit. I'm concerned because I have another betta, and his tail is really frayed too, but I thought that maybe he was always like that. But I definitely know that the new bettas fins were not. I have a heater and the chemicals are fine, and I use melafix fish first aid every time I change the water.
