I got my dogs a new brand of bully sticks (Redbarn) and a couple in the pack were dark and shriveled. Are they okay to give my dogs?
sorry they’re not pedigree tasty bites. we just keep these snacks in that package because the pedigree one closes, and the original package for this snack doesn’t, so when the pedigree ones were done we put this small bones there. they’re called “snack mini-bone” by activpet but they’re no available in the US. i do remember that in the original package it said it was good as a reward for exercise.

I like to give my dog two treats per day and they are 12 calories each Is it ok to feed her less to account for the treats? For example I've been feeding her 1/4 cup of Orijen in the am and 1/3 cup of Orijen in the pm. Can I just feed her 1/4 cup twice per day and feed the treats too? Her supplements are an additional 37 calories and her bully stick is 12 calories. This is a total of 73 calories coming from supplements, treats, and bully sticks. (Roughly about 25% of her diet) is this balanced?

Hello buddy is a yellow lab and he loves to chew on Rawhide. I can't seem to find the huge rawhides he likes that I buy at Christmas time. Can you recommend any treats that he can chew on for long periods of time? I see that dr. Foster and Smith sell a rawhide bone but it's almost $30 for three of them and then not nearly the size of the large ones he gets through in a few days if that.
