Questions
Hello, my name is bob I was getting a corn snake but first I need to ask is a good tank for corn snakes. also, does the package have the water and caves ???????????????
- I think it would do well for your snake. We use ours for a sand boa. Yes it has everything. The cave, water dish, heating pad, thermostat and a bag of bedding. The only thing we added was a stick to climb on.

I am 11 years old. I want to get a Cornsnake for Christmas! I have just enough money for this tank. Is this tank the best tank for a Cornsnake?
Is this suitable for a male Ball Python's entire life?
- depending on the size you should take length and width lengths and if that matches your snakes length then good but it is better to do just the longest length.

Would this be good for a python?
- Yes... it’s recommended that they have a tank that’s between 10 & 20 gallons to start with.

why does it need my name and number for undiclosed "personalization"?
- I guess that they just need to make sure you are 18 or older.
Helpful?
Why can't they lower the price for the starter kit cause it seems too much
- Because they're in the business of making money. You can always just build your own.

I see in the picture there is a lamp that clips I guess above and I see somebody said there’s some type of heat for under the tank so does the tank come with the over light and a under heating pad?
- sorry im super late but the led lamp is just for viewing the under tank heater works better for heat then a heat lamp for snakes anyways
Helpful?
Is this good for corn snake? For his entire life?
- Should be for a male, some say they'll do better in a 38 gallon later, while this may be true, you probably won't see any negative repercussions because of the tank size.

will this work for a full grown california kingsnake
- Well, first of all, if you're really interested, you should research online instead of coming to petco.com for information. Second. It may or may not work for California kings. With about two google searches you should be able to deduce the fact that cal kings can be potentially 6 feet, so you must be prepared to size up the tank if that is the case. A 20 gallon long may be adequate if your snake ends up on the smaller side, but 25 gallon or even 30 would provide more space for a snake to stretch out and explore in throughout the day or night.

what type of heater dose it have
- In talking to a knowledgeable reptile breeder recently, any heater like an under tank or heated rock type should be powered thru a reostat in order to control the temperature. He recommended a "heat emitter" which is a ceramic device that screws in like a light bulb but doesn't light up. A bit pricey but will last about forever.
