It is the perfect size. The bowls we have fit in just right. The pad does a great job of preventing water getting on the floor.

I bought this a week ago and do not like it. My pet spills outside of their bowl and it just gets under the matt and then my floor is wet. Plus it does not keep the dishes from Sliding around.

This placemat works great for keeping the mess my dog makes when eating contained. I feed her mostly wet food which often ends up with some leftovers that have fallen off around her plate, which now are contained on this placemat making cleanup easier.

This is a nice dog food and water mat. I really like the dark blue color, although it does show a few hard water spots. We use a raised stand for our dog and this keeps everything off the floor that falls off the stand. Nice product.

The mauve and marble print say they're dishwasher safe while this is the same but a different color. It doesn't have that under the description so is just this color not dishwasher safe???
