Gerbils and dwarf hamsters should be given a bath twice weekly, chinchillas daily in EveryYay Dust to prevent unhealthy urine stains and irritation that may cause fur chewing. For best results, keep at least two inches of dust in the bath pan. Do not add any other materials. The bath pan should be removed from the habitat after a few minutes to avoid contamination from the animal eliminating in it. It can be disposed of in municipal trash collection or, better yet, recycled as a soil additive in home gardening.

No ingredients listed and not even sure if it’s actually pumice. It’s very sparkly which can’t be good for chinchillas. I’m returning this product and do not recommend it.

What are the ingredients in the dust? It’s not listed. Every other dust lists their ingredients. My chinchilla just had his first dust bath from this dust and he looked sparkly as if Mica was in it.
