roughly how many grams (or any other measurement) of grain mix/food should a budgie eat in a day? ive started weigh out how much food im adding to the cage so that i can keep track of how much she's eating :)
The back of my pet food says the weight in grams per cup of food. I notice when I weigh the food for 1/3 cup it only fills the measuring cup about 3/4 full. Is this normal? also do you know if pet food companies measure the calories per cup based on weighed grams of food or just by standard 8 oz. measuring cups? Thanks!
How to weight my dogs dry food without a kitchen scale any tips And is this dry food good ?
Hi, I'm going to start measuring my dogs kibble in grams but most dog food bags don't list the grams on there. She gets 1/3 twice a day. I looked at some that did and it varied from 12-14 grams per ounce. So I figured If I just measured an amount that said 35 grams each time I would be good. Does this sound ok? I like to rotate flavors and brands so it would be a hassle to contact each company just to get the exact number. I'm thinking I'm in the ballpark. Does this sound ok?
My dog ate cupcake case
My 8 yr old cat does something funny when I pour her food on her bowl she eats very little and lraves the rest for later but when i place the serving in my hands she eats out of my hand the whole serving size i pour. She eats 1/2 cup orijen sparated into two meals and she is about 10 lbs.
Hi my puppy is 4 months old and weighs 36lbs. I know I should feed him three times a day, but is the amount consistent each feeding period. He eats Purina Puppy Chow, it says he should eat 1cup3/4 - 2cup1/3.
My pup currently eats the costco kirkland adult dog chicken, vegetable, and rice (pinkish bag on their site). However, time to time she eats grass outside or doesn't eat her food. I sometimes I add nutritional yeast and/or wheat grass powder to her food for nutrients. Is this good for her? Should I switch to one of the other pictures attached? If so, which one? Thank you!
Just recently looked at the feeding guide on the side of my dogs science diet. It says for 20 pound dog to feed them 1 1/2 cup a day. I was shocked on how little that looks like. Oliver is about 16-17 pounds. I feed him twice a day should I be doing 3/4 cup in morning and night. When I look at the 1/4 and fill it three times it looks like very little, but then again he is a little guy. And I do notice if I put too much food he doesn't eat it all. Is this 1 cup normal or average for small dogs?
Our puppy is 7 months old and eating 4 cups of food a day should get more food. Because on the hills science diet bag it says 6 cups. He is 65 lbs.
We got a 1 yr old Siberian husky (female) about 57 lbs. We bought nutrisource dry kibble (grain free). How much should we feed her? We been giving her a cup 2x a day.
What is the best dog bowl material that is non toxic, going to stay clean, not get a film at the bottom and not harbor bacteria?
