The back of my pet food says the weight in grams per cup of food. I notice when I weigh the food for 1/3 cup it only fills the measuring cup about 3/4 full. Is this normal? also do you know if pet food companies measure the calories per cup based on weighed grams of food or just by standard 8 oz. measuring cups? Thanks!
I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. I’d like to them to eat all their dry food in two meals and finish in a timely manner. How to train them to do this without making them get too skinny? And how many cups should I feed them? My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. Hello doctor! Scooby is now 5 months old and he still doesn't eat anything. He always want new dish to eat. Always I have to mix one or otherthing to make him eat. I usually mix sweet in milk rice and it eats for 2 days and 3rd it again asks for new. Can you please help me out suggesting any liquid which makes him to eat every time. I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I have been wondering this for a while now. But I recently (Dec 5 2018) adopted a lovely 1 year old male cat who I was told weighted 10lbs when i got him. Now they did tell me his food (hill science diet adult 1-6) but not how much he was eating. So I followed the guidelines on the bag which said 1/2 cup for a 10lbs cat. He always goes crazy at meal time so I'm worried am I underfeeding him? Also he looks like he's lost weight but I also don't have a scale to weight him and brushed recently
