my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... What would you suggest? (that's affordable)?
What type of bed would you suggest for my miniature dachshund? She is 3 1/2 months old. She gets cold easily & sleeps w/ me in my bed. She always loves cuddling with me whever I am if on the couch resting, etc. I always have a small blanket & she loves for me to cover her up totally.. She crawls under it & goes to sleep!
Ellis is a black lab, bred for guide dog service, but didn’t graduate. He is now 14. He’s a happy pup, but has been in decline. Just this year he decided he no longer wants to go for walks. He’s pretty lumpy. We now live in a house with mostly hard floors, but we do have rugs in places. He has increasingly had a hard time getting up off the floor and his paws tend to splay out. Just today he would get up and his back legs would tremble and he would try to wander around but hesitate...
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
I need your help here. I've been thinking to purchase a crate and a crate bed and crate cover for my little girl. Since she loves to nap under the table and I thought it'll be much safer and comfortable for her to sleep there from time to time. And safer from the friend's and families children from hurting her. Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
Longcoat chi. Excessive Itching, licking especialy after eating (for 60 minutes), hair loss patches on chest, face, ears limbs, butt. Ears & feet look slightly greasy. Have tried limited ingredient chicken, Pork, lamb, turkey. Natures variety and Fromms (worse on Fromms) suggestions on dry food? Live in CA, so can't order kangaroo here. Better quality kibble only. We bought my dog a new dog bed that’s supposed to help with his anxiety. The first night he loved it - we couldn’t get him out of it! Since that first night, he doesn’t like to sit on it anymore. He just humps it and licks it. We can put him directly in it and force him to sit, but he won’t stay long and looks uncomfortable. Should I take the bed away? Why won’t he lag on it anymore?
My 32 poodle has separation anxiety. He stretches at our doors until injury while we are away. We are slowly working up to leaving him for longer than 10 mins but may need an over the counter drug in the meantime. Any suggestions?
