Best aquarium light ever

Banana man

I bought this light 17 months ago for a 55 gallon aquarium...best light I've seen on any aquarium..I look at others aquariums with different lights and none of them fill the aquarium with such beautiful hues of different colors...spend the extra money for this light it's my best thing I bought out of all my aquarium stuff. I'm gonna buy a second one for my new 75 gallon so they match...I don't know how long it last but it's just beautiful lighting for the aquarium and room

Yes, I recommend this product.

I've actually had 2 lights and both stopped working. The first light was purchased in January, 2024 and the remote stopped working within 30 day period. The store replaced the light for me. However my 2nd light has now quit working. It just won't even turn on. I do not recommend this product. It's extremely overpriced for a product that will not last you but all of a month.

I already own a Aqueon Opti bright LED its a little thinner with just 3 rows of LED, where as the Coralife offers 4 rows that's 25% more for basically the same money they are both bright and offer the same functions they both have the same sunrise and sunset options as well as a cycle of red, blue and green. I have had them both for just two weeks and the difference is noticeable.as my tank came only equipped with a single white light.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought these about a month ago and I’m all about them and they’re set it and forget it theory. Compared to what’s out there these were the best for my tank!

Product dies after 30 days.

I bought this 37 days ago and it is dying just after the 30 day return period. The lights dim and turn off at will. If you touch the light or cord the lights dim and/or turn off. I am assuming this is not properly wired or grounded inside the light. Do not purchase.

Fantastic Results with Planted Freshwater Setup

I purchased the 48" thru 54" Seascape Led 3 months prior to this review for my 75 gallon Freshwater setup, even though this light was designated saltwater. Timers, and functions have worked perfectly. Plants under this light have grown at double the rate of my other 75 gallon a month older with the Opti bright light. Greens & Reds in plants are richer, and more vibrant with the Coral life Seascape light. Both tanks have the same mix of substrate Fluval and eco complete. Fertilized the same with similar ambient light, and bio loads. Nether tank is running co2. Currently running lights 10 hrs. a day. My experience with the Seascape light continues to be fantastic.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Weak light

Billybob12

This light is strong enough to keep soft coral alive. Light is not storng enough to make corals pop, develop and spread throughout tank. Max par is 70. This light was holding back my coral growth. Ditched this light for 2 AI prime 16hd's. Should have went with better lights the first time.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Even with a lid on my tank, salt creep and moisture has infiltrated the light and it no longer works properly. Very disappointed

Just bought a Seascape LED 30-36". It came without the power cord, is this available separately?

  1. Its supposed to come with a cord so return it

What's is a proper lighting schedule and what colors are ok to use? I'm getting alot of algae...

  1. Only keep on all lights 7 hours a day. The dawn lights come on one hour before all lights come in. Then I do two hours of the blue moon light setting.

Would this work for my Biocube 32 aquarium as additional lighting for my sealife? Or will it be too much lighting? Would like to know before I buy it.

  1. Hey there! We'd like to gather more information from you before we issue a response. Please contact us directly at 1-888-255-4527 so we can continue the discussion!

Would this light work for the 40 gal breeder tank

  1. Hey there! Yes – the 36” size would fit!

I just purchased a aquascape coral life led light . I tried setting the timer 3 times and it doesn't work?? Any suggestions? Or is a defective light?

  1. Please reach out to our Consumer Care team who can get some information from you and help resolve. The number is 1-888-255-4527 and they are on hand Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST to serve you. Thanks so much for reaching out.

Would this work with the aqueon 20 gallon long hood? I have that removeable LED hood with the long bulbs... could i just remove that part and place this in it's place? would it work?

  1. Hey there! This LED fixture is 4.5” wide, so it may have some difficulty fitting inside the plastic hood that you have, but you could use a 20L (30” x 12”) Aqueon glass versa top with this light, no problem.

The description says 48-54 inches, yet in the specifications it says it is 54" long. How would I get this to fit a 48" tank and would some of the lights be shining on the floor and not in the tank?

  1. Hello! There is an extendable bracket that you can pull out to fit up to 54”. The lights will not hang over a 48” tank. In the case of a 48” tank, you would forgo use of the extended brackets and not extend them.

How do I set the time on the programmable lights? That is the time matching your clock

  1. Hey there! Thank you for leaving your question. This is a matter that our friendly Consumer Care team would be more than happy to assist you with! We can be reached at 1-888-255-4527.

Can I program for light intensity when setting the lights on the timer? I’d like for them to come on at 80%.

  1. Hi there! Unfortunately, the intensity cannot be adjusted on this light.

Is this water resistant? My 75 gallon does not have a lid, I needed a light but a mounted option was just not in the question due to my living sitch. I'm scared to use the light, it's currently sitting in the corner. What do I do?

  1. Yes, these are water resistant. I used one for five years without a barrier between the light and the top of tank. Light has fell in the tank a few times, too. I love this light. Nothing else is good enough now.
