Several years of enjoyment

We've had this fountain for several years and the cat loves it. She drinks much more than from a still bowl on the floor. I love it because it's so easy to clean! We have not used the dishwasher, but wash it by hand. Replacing the filter is super easy, too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this water fountain for my 2 siberian cats, all is going good except one thing.. the screw that holds the power box it rusted out soo badly that the water had a ring around the fountain at the bottom. And i clean fountain every other week. Imagine my cats were drinking that water! I had to switch out the screw and placed a new one that will NOT RUST!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I hate it. Looks nice, but the design flaws in it are awful . Pump does not stay put, and any animal can easily knock the top off. Needs to have a way to secure things

No, I do not recommend this product.

My cats love it

I've never seen them drink so much water in their lives! I can't tell if it's because it's a new fountain (though I got a different new one a month earlier that they were super exited about...now this one is all. It could be the new location though (bathroom) since one of my cats has always liked drinking out of the tap when I'm in there. My only complaint is that the motor was kinda...free-floating in the box? when I first got it? I figured out where it was supposed to attach (but it didn't have anything to like, make it STAY there when I flipped the unit over to put it all together. I use masking tape for now. Seems to work well enough; I just switch out the tape each time I clean it/change the filter.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I've had this fountain 3 years now, and the original motor is still going strong. I highly advise using a dishwasher to clean this (we use top rack) - there are too many crevices to clean easily by hand although it can be done. We clean it when it starts getting slimy, which all fountains do. My cat still uses it regularly (preferring the highest point, so we have it rotated sideways against the wall). He doesn't use it when he thinks someone is watching, and prefers having it in a non-busy hallway over the kitchen. Shop around for replacement filters because different sites have better deals.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is it safe to use masking tape on pet water fountains, especially if water comes in contact with masking tape causing pieces of tape to break off in the water, which can get lodged in pet's intestine? Is masking tape food safe?
