I'm sure this toy isn't exactly for your dog to chew on. But for those who do let them chew on it. Know that there are some kind of small hard rocks in the middle of the toy. I don't know why you would do that even If it's not for your dog to chew on.

my dog tore thru the fabric within a couple uses of retrieving..no chewing. I thought since it was carhartt it would be a manufactured with quality in mind..it was not.

My Belgian Malinois loves this thing! It's not a chew toy.

Our dog had some alone time with this toy and started chewing the brown material and made a hole in it. No big deal until small white grains/pellets started coming out of hole. Made a mess. Will not buy again.

Bought a large one for my 40lb husky/collie. Toy was ripped by the third fetch. Save your money.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FOR PETS! My dogs rip this up in under 30 minutes. I didn’t even realize and I look to the side. and there were sand and rocks all over the floor. Who knows what’s even in it, they could’ve eaten it, and gotten very, very sick!!! I love all of your products and your clothing, but please stick to that, and drop the dog toys. You could have a serious lawsuit on your hands of some other dog, got sick because of the sand in there. I’m not even the person to write a type of review. But I’m just really concerned. It won’t let me add photos, of how bad it was, because of the way it’s saved. Or videos because they have to be public on YouTube. But please stay away from this. Carhartt please take this away before a doggy gets hurt!

I have a trained search dog.our reward number finally wore out after more than five years.I purchased this bumper and in les than ten minutes use it came apart and is filled with some sort of whistle plastic granular material. Now I will have to watch my dog for a reaction as he ingested some of it.the orange portion totally separated for the brown handle.it is inferior to anything I have used before.my dog is an advanced trained search dog and we use items like this for training.I won’t use this brand again
