I was in one of my local retailers and saw an amazing product that I just had to have. It was a smaller sized blanket with canvas on one side and the flannel Sherpa lining on the other. I thought, this is exactly what I need! See, I'm a firefighter and often we have down time where we sit in our club room and just relax. A throw blanket is a nice thing to have to enjoy the comfort to it's fullest. I was so excited about my new purchase and showed it off to everyone like a kid on Christmas with his new clothes. First couple of days I didn't really have any complaints. Then I started to notice, it wasn't really long enough for a person of average height or above. I started to research to see if there was a larger size but couldn't find anything on these throws other than some blankets made for dogs. I thought, surely not. I went back to the local retailer to look at the packaging as mine had long been discarded. Yes, yes indeed, I had bought a dog blanket for personal use. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still using that blanket to this day. How much of a market are you missing by not making these a little larger for humans?? Anyways, here is my humble request to consider making throw blankets for humans. Maybe with a different material in place of the canvas. Something softer. The sherpa lining side is perfect. Length is 58", not 95.5" as advertised. Carhartt needs a different tape measure. How can you be off this much, Carhartt? Fits a 4' couch not an 8' couch.

Dog blanket? Nope not here. We absolutely love this blanket and we use for ourselves. We have one that's a few years old and is awesome. So we decided to get another. This blanket is not full size. It's perfect for cold nights watching TV, or by a fire or any use on cold days.

It does not say in the description on the website that once washed/dried it will shrink 2 to 4%. Had this been indicated I would not have purchased! I'm trying to do a return but it is proving to be challenging. Having to explain to agent after agent. Frustrating. This is a rather expensive dog blanket and it's Cahartt… I expected better!

Got this for our puppy to be his "place" on the couch. Seems tough and durable. Our puppy has peed on it once or twice and it is easy to just throw in the washer. We have dried it on the lowest heat setting and it has been fine.

I originally used this as a personal blanket for naps in my lazy boy. It was a little short, but it did the job and looked cool at the same time. The fuzzy side is surprisingly soft as well as rugged. Even my girlfriend wasn't opposed to using it. Then I got a lab puppy and he decided he liked it more so it became his. I will not defend the durability of this product. If you're looking for something that will stand up to chewing, then this is not it. My lab has put several holes in it. However, it is overall built to last wear/tear and abrasions. It looks good on a chair or in a kennel. I've had mine for almost 9 months and it's still doing a good job, so I'm happy with my purchase.
