This seems to be a well-made blanket. Though, unfortunately, I didn’t notice a difference in my dog’s anxiety, and he tends to wriggle out from under the blanket fairly quickly, so it gets pushed to the side and doesn't end up getting much use. In terms of the weight, it seemed a bit heavy for my dog but he is on the lower end of the sizing chart (ordered the small for my 12–14 lb mini poodle/chihuahua mix). I really appreciate the removable cover since it should make cleaning easier. The sizing could be improved, since it doesn't fully cover my small dog and I was hesitant to size up in case it was too heavy. It would be great if there more size options, especially for dogs under 12 lbs. , as well as color options.

I’ve tried soo many things to calm my dog during Fireworks and Thunderstorms. This is the first thing that actually works. Fireworks are going off and she is sleeping!! Works better than the drugs prescribed for these events. First thing to work for her! It’s worth purchasing!!! Love it!

It is a nice blanket with a nice weight, I only wish the size is a little bit bigger (got the small for my dog who is 13.5 lbs.). I went by the weight chart so I didn't get him the large one in fear that it may be too heavy.

Dolly is a 7 year old/28 pound hound mix. She is afraid of rain, thunder, fireworks and other loud noise. We have many products from Canada pooch including her walking harnesses, a cooling shirt and cooling harness which we love. I purchased the weighted blanket, toy and shirt. So far she likes the blanket and toy! We have not used the shirt yet! The blanket is soft and not too heavy. She usually will settle down from shaking and relax a little bit more about 10 minutes after I place the blanket over her.
