Threw away the boxes since I moved. Now, I’m stuck with a filter that was suppose to pump in and out water. Whatever it is the air or faulty product, it makes so much notice trying to shoot the water into the tank. I tried putting water ahead of time into the filter, but it only goes halfway up the tube. Water can not even be vacuumed out.
If I could have returned it in time, then I would have rated this a bit higher since the popularity of the brand seems to be very high. I’m hoping I was an unfortunate customer.
No, I do not recommend this product.

There is no need to modify / customize our BioMaster as it is perfect right out of the box, and frankly from opening the box to final installation, it should only take approximately 5-10 minutes to setup. This is the best filter in the market right now. All the best aquascapers like George farmer use it. YouTube it if u want. Quality product. Easy to use and clean. I use seachem matrix in it. Hands down the rolls Royce of aquatic filters right now.

How much gravel do you need per gallon of water with this type of filter? Can I use less gravel than other filters? I have the 250 and a 46 gallon tank.

Hey my name is Matt, I’m. We to the canister filter game and I’m either thinking of oase’ or fluval but I don’t know what size to get for a 29 gallon. I also want a bigger filter than I need so I’m not maxing out my filter. I would also like one with heat

Does the 250 come with the heater, or is it just set up to have one and you buy it seperately?

The BioMaster 250 aquarium Filter comes with four carbon pre-filter foams, one 30 ppi filter foam, two 20 ppi filter foams, Hel-X Biomedia, intake tube with inlet strainer, water distributor nozzle, spray bar, inlet and outlet adapters with flow control, tubing, fittings, heater adapter, and power cable. This unit does have heater integration capability. You may easily integrate an OASE HeatUp 150 into the BioMaster canister (HeatUp not included). We hope this helps. I have a bio filter 250 oase. It is less than 6months old. Lately the water bar has been shutting down and it sounds like gears are grinding in the filter tank. What is causing this. I work 12 hour days so I can't afford to babysit my fish tank all day
