Junk
Terrible and defective. Blinked like a strobe light. The hood and ballast are fine with the old bulb I had so it's not the fixture. I did curbside pickup so returning is hassle. They did not even provide a receipt when I picked it up.

I bought it about a week ago and it has been amazing, for the price it is perfect and it can grown soft corals for my saltwater tank

Its more for the saltwater aquariums
I bought it a few days ago. It works but it was not for me because it didn’t light up my aquarium at all. I think that’s because its made for saltwater.

my light bulb measures from prong to prong 23 inches does the 24 inch fit
- Yes, the 24" size indicates the size of the fixture that the bulb fits into. If you have a 24" fixture the 24" bulb is the correct size. The actual bulb length is approx. 23" w/o the prongs.
