Doesn't work. I just bought it. I need to return it. I would not recommend it for buy.

Does what it is designed to do and easy to use. Everything comes with it and instructions easy to understand.

The bulb leaked the very first time I attempted to do a water change. Get a different brand.

I bought this a couple weeks ago as my first major cleanup was coming up on my 5 gallon Aqueon rim less tank. It did a lot better than what I thought it would do and in no time I was done with my first vacuuming of my tank. The only suggestion I have is on your first time have somebody with you to watch the 5 gallon bucket so you don't over do it, this thing is fast for sure and make sure to have your refill water ready to go the night before so it can get to room temperature.

Ok. I see alot of reviews stating that "I hate it" and "it sucks", not literally. If u take a large portion of 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 star ratings, they all sound like my church choir! All in unison... People, it's about taking care of our pets and that includes their "living quarters", we all agree. Having that agreed upon, has anyone watched 1 of the 50 YouTube videos, ever, for the siphoning process. I fear we might be so angry that we take it out on the aquarium! Putting it off one day too many and "poof". A little thing known as filter overload. But back to the gravel vac.. Please just remember 2 things, ok? 1: It's OK to start the gravel vac by giving it a couple of pulls on the end it comes out from. Just start it by keeping the tube in the bucket and give it a little suck. Water will immediately start running and you will see this happening as you control it. Bend the hose to pause, keep the vacuum end submerged, make sure the bucket is below the tank. 2: You are in control if this process at all times. Watch video on how to vacuum or start out by removing some gallons of water. All you need is an "aquarium only" bucket. Relax, do not scare the fish, shrimp etc. After 5 or 6 goes at it.you will soon be a pro! If all else fails, contact Aqueon and get some tech support on their product. Good luck to all!!!

Worked for maybe 2 minutes before it fell apart and I was pulling parts of it out of my tank. I will admit it did a good job until the moment of failure. Now it won’t go back together and function.

This siphon works well after some trial and error. To get it started use small, fast, up and down motions at the surface of the water, so you don’t scare your fish. As long as you do small fast movements it won’t disturb the water much. I have a sand bottom tank so I don’t know how well this works with gravel.

Works wonderful and convenient. Doesn't make a mess
