I bought several 10 and 20 gallon tanks just over a month ago. I came home to see multiple leaking just outside of the 30 day return window... Not sure what to do now and disappointing to say the least.

I bought this tank at the end of October. Randomly started leaking from the base tonight. 3 months and done. Everything ruined. They sell you the cheap tank so you over spend on their high price supplies and accessories

These tanks are amazingly affordable, beautiful nd I love all my Aqueon products. The 20 gal was a gift and I added the 55 gallon at an amazing Petco sale and I can’t say enough about how great the Aqueon products are! I even got rebates making the setup even MORE affordable!

Bought this tank in store. Set it up on a stand and a few months later it started leaking heavily from the bottom. Stand was solid and leveled. I have never had this happen before and looked at the tank closer comparing it to my others. Thin glass plus messy silicone was the only difference I could see. If you use this, make sure where it is placed can have minimal water damage from a possible catastrophic leak.

Sprung a leak twice in the first two months

I had a tank that my parents had since I was a kid & that finally sprung a leak after 30 years of on & off use, so I bought a new tank. Within the first month it sprung a leak, so I bought tank sealant to try to repair where the leak was- a few weeks later, again, another leak. I repaired it again and that lasted a few months, and sprung another leak. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a very common problem now. My turtle is currently temporarily living in a 30 gallon plastic storage bin until I can figure out a new solution, because these tanks aren’t it.

what capacity of fish would you recommend to live in this size of tank?
- It will depend a lot on the type of fish. We have a betta, 5 rasboras, and a snail and I think we could safely add a couple more.

What lid fits this tank? I see links for a lid with a 30 inch length. I don't know how that will fit inside a tank with only a 24.5 inch length. I believe it will fit the 20 long but this is 20 tall

is this tank tempered glass?
- Hi! We appreciate you messaging us. Not generally, but any tank can be made with tempered glass in the event that there is a shortage of standard glass to build them. Unfortunately, we do not have any accessory markings to indicate if a tank is made with tempered glass or not. You would have to do a polarized lens check. Please keep in mind that regardless of what type of glass a tank is made with, any alteration of the original design/format will void the tank’s warranty. Is this a good size for a baby red ear slider turtle? He fits currently in my 10 year old palm he is still a baby...
- Red Eared Sliders, like many available aquatic turtles found in pet stores, get large and need a lot of room to swim. Reaching upwards of 12", and being very powerful swimmers, causes them to need a very large water source to swim in. For turtles up to 6", a 40BR Aquarium will work, but you'd still want to provide a larger aquarium if possible. By the time they are 10", they should be in something no smaller than a 125 gallon aquarium, and again larger if you're able. Since they eat in their water and go to the bathroom in their water, the quality of the water is a very important. A very large filter is needed. We suggest a minimum size filter that's made to filter 2 times the volume of your aquarium. So if you have a 40 gallon aquarium, you'll want a filter made for at least 80-100 gallons of water

I am having a hard time finding a lid for this aquarium. I have one for fish that I like a lid to cut back on evaporation. However, I’d also like to purchase another for my Pac-Man. But I can not find glass lids with the correct dimension??
