My friend thinks my dog has Rainrot. I keep telling her he doesn't he's just shedding his winter coat. He isn't missing any patches of fur and his skin is fine. I've litterally been brushing him as he finishes his shedding. What do you think?
Rain rot is a skin disease caused by the bacterium Dermatophilus congolensis. If a dog suffers from rain rot, it will have hair that sticks together like the hair of a paint brush and when you pull it it comes out and leaves a bleeding round skin lesion. These lesions often are crusty and can confluence, ie cause bigger lesions. The dog on the photo does not look like it has rain rot. Keep brushing the hair which should minimize the itch caused by the shedding of fur now in spring.

How to know if dog's fur is shedding too much?
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Most dogs and cats are shedding this time of year.To know if it is appropriate is based on breed: does this breed shed? And if there are spots of missing fur or an uneven hair coat. If the coat still looks good and there are not patches of missing fur and Coby isn't scratching, it is likely normal. My dog doesn't want to walk outside when it's cold and raining. Is it OK to still force the walk? Should I dress him in dog clothes?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Some dogs really do not like the cold weather. I think it is still fair to try to walk him outside if using a sweater or coat to keep him warm. I would avoid walking him outside when it is raining as dogs can have a hard time regulating their temperature specially when very young. You can get a sweater for him online or at your local pet store. You can use treats to encourage him to walk outside. Good luck and have a good night!

As you have figured out, not all pets learn the same! Make sure you reward Rudi every time her potties outside. Also do not leave him unsupervised in the house as the more accidents he has in the house, the more his brain thinks this is normal behavior. Use a kennel if you are not already doing so. Keep him on a leash in the house and go outside with a leash so that he has to leave the porch. Lastly, if you know he has to potty and he does not go, put him back in the kennel for 30 minutes and then take him out again. If he still does not go, he goes back in the kennel for another 30 minutes. You keep repeating this until he potties outside and then he can be free in the house. Be patient and I hope this helps to give you some ideas! Please feel free to post any additional questions.

This is common time of year for dogs to "blow their coat" as a new type of hair comes it. This can also happen when switching from a puppy to adult coat. Unless you're seeing bald patches or he's itching, I wouldn't worry about the shedding. As far as the urinating, that does have me more concerned and I'd recommend a vet visit to rule out a medical problem and then restarting house training if no medical problem is found.
