Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Cat fights can be dangerous because often times it can result in serious injuries and most of the time what you see on the outside is just the tip of the iceberg and there is more going on internally. I would encourage you to try perhaps to have him evaluated by another veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. He is likely going to need evaluation to see the extent of his injuries and to check for something that could explain his vomiting. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat him accordingly. I am very concerned about his painful abdomen and vomiting so I would recommend you try to seek veterinary help as soon as possible. Good luck!

Keep them separated for a few days. Gradually introduce one to another then introduce the third. A pheromone product such as Feliway spray or plug in diffuser may decrease any anxiety or aggression in the home. As the instigator, have Ripley examined by your veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury. Either can cause sudden behavioral changes. (Love the names for your trio. "Alien", great movie franchise)

If George gets really upset with other animals in the house, I think it would be best for your family to stay in a hotel if they are bringing their dog. He's an older cat, he deserves to be comfortable in his home, and stress can bring out health problems in cats such as feline idiopathic cystitis. I think his needs come first here. Best of luck.

This is tricky since chasing the cat is it's owner reward. You should keep a tether on Deter in the house and whenever he tries to bother Pepper you should ask him to sit or go to his bed. You should not allow them to be around each other unsupervised and make sure that Pepper has plenty of places where she can escape - cat trees or other elevated places are particularly helpful. If it's continuing you may want to get a behaviorist involved - ask your vet for a referral. This is an article that outlines some training you could work on at home.

That is very strange! It could be that something startled Beanz, she got very frightened, and reacted by attacking the closest thing to her: The dog. I would separate them, and slowly reintroduce them to each other. I would keep them in rooms separated by a door. This way, they can get used to the smells and sounds of each other without contact. Make sure Beanz has a litter box, food, and water in her room. You can place a blanket with the dog's smell in the her room, and a blanket with her smell in the dog's room. I would also consider get a Feliway for Beanz and a DAP for your dog. These are pheromone diffusers that help with anxiety and should also help ease the transition. Once both pets seem relaxed with the current situation, swap rooms placing Beanz in the dog's room and vice versa. You can do this switch several times over the course of this reintroduction. Once they are both comfortable with the smells of each other, it's time for them to meet face to face again. I w
