Apply a thin layer to affected areas 2-3 times daily. For best results, distract your dog from licking off the balm until it soaks in. Decrease application as affected areas improve. Pro-Tip: Using the balm before bed is ideal due to the peak of healing and regeneration that occurs in dogs while they sleep.

Hi, My husky hurt his paw so I put Espree Paw Balm on his paw and Im guessing he licked it because he pooped out what looked like resin. The ingredients in the Paw Balm are lanolin, bees wax, carnauba, sweet almond oil, aloe oil, lemon peel oil, vitamin E, comfrey extract, arnica. Now hes okay but laying around a bit more than normal. I added pictures of the resin like stuff from his poop. When I squeeze it is hard but I can scrape it if I scrape hard. Thank you!
I started applying “Shea butter “ on pressure points of both my dogs to avoid them drying up. Dogs lick Shea butter. Is it alright. The product is “ palmers Shea formula” made in USA.

Are any of these ingredient dangerous to dogs in cream or balm? Dibutyl Adipate (and) Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (and) Ethylexyl Methoxicinnamate (and) Laureth-7 Citrate (and) Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate (and) Ethylexyl Triazone (and) Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (and) Lauryl Glucoside (and) Triethanolamine
My dog was recently groomed, and without realizing I let her play outside for a little too long. Her back paws kind of got a little irritated because her hair had just been cut down. She has been licking them on and off constantly since then. A vet on here suggested to use Vaseline but I didn’t want to risk her ingesting it. Instead I opted for ResQ Organics Skin Treatment with Manuka Honey. Is this a safer option?
My dog suffers from allergies, which are now controlled, but, during this dry season, his lips get very dry and itchy. I tried putting a healing cream twice daily (50 mg/g Dexpanthenol + 5 mg/g Chlorhexidine) that his vet recommended for other skin problems he had in the past. Although he licks it right after I put it, some cream must stay, because his lips heal completely after a few days. However, I'm now worried that he licking and ingesting the cream may be harmful. Should I stop putting it?
