The first day I went to use it the spray nozzle leaked badly. I had to remove the spray nozzle and had to find one that fit and it worked ok. As for the chemical working, not the best. Seems that it isn't killing bugs well and I have to keep using it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This seems apparently useless. Bought it because roommate's cat brought fleas into the apartment and into my kitten. Got this spray for our furniture and carpets and to treat her. I had a living flea on the comb and sprayed it with this spray and it didn't phase the flea in the slightest.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Have had our cat for 16 years and this is the second time in the last 3 years we've had to deal with fleas and he is an indoor cat. Thought I would try this as it's natural. It seems to work pretty well. The smell is ok. I spray it on my cat (or in my hands) and comb him out and spray the couch along with vacuuming once or twice a day. We've been using it for the last 4 days or so and his itching is way less and we haven't had anymore bites ourselves. I will continue until I don't find anything and he isn't scratching. I also use Dawn Dish soap and water to comb him out which also works.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not super effective, but gentle. My cat didn't love being sprayed, but she tolerated it if I sprayed my hand then "petted" it onto her

I used on my cats and they seem tired afterwards. I can’t find anywhere what the side affects are. Could inhaling it/licking it cause them to be lethargic?

  1. I never sprayed it on my cat only on the areas where my cat slept. Actually, this was an outside ferral cat that took up residence in my garage and was infested with fleas. I couldn't get close enough so I sprayed the area where the cat slept and hung out. It helped the cat and I changed the towels it slept on everyday washing them in soap and hot water. My cats, all three, I give a treatment every 5-6 weeks of the advantage. It has worked amazingly for the last 7 years. Good luck and take care. You can get the Advantage on automatic order and save money.

The bottle say not to let cats groom until dry. How do you stop a cat from grooming?

  1. You really can't stop them. You know how cats are! Lol! I use this all the time with my cats and they have licked it and they are fine. It does dry pretty fast, so I think by the time the cats start licking, their not getting too much.

How do I open the spray bottle

  1. On the spray bottle, just turn the white nozzle and give it a spray. Should work fine.

would it work on dogs too, just like mosquito repellent?

Can I use this spray on my cat after using a store bought topical treatment for her fleas? Is it safe to use both?

Is this spray safe for cats...it won't make them sick? As we all know, cats wash and groom themselves often, so if they ingest this, it's not harmful?

      1. Hi Sharona322, This product is formulated for Cats. - Carefully formulated for application directly on kittens and cats 12 weeks or older. As always, o not spray in the face, eyes or genitals.
