Bark collars are designed to address obsessive barking related to external triggers- obsessively barking at people arriving, activity outside of windows, sounds in an apartment, etc. As separation anxiety is a mental/behavioral condition with an internal source, bark collars cannot address this and may inadvertently increase barking activity.
