Required some work but snake approved
I have been looking for something to replace a small tree for my snake. She out grew it. This was a good size and she can’t get stuck inside it. I had to sand it down because it had some sharp edges and could give her splinters. But once sanded, she seems to like it. Crawls all over it and sleeps under it. Hangs from it. Has a great time. Decently priced too. Glad I found it. :)

What you get is not this!
No at all what I wanted. This picture shown was not even close to what I was given. I couldn't return it because my wife took off the tag and through it away. So I am stuck with it,

Great for basking
I've had one of these about a decade ago but could not find it so bought a new one. I was worried when ordering but when it arrived I was really pleased by its shape. It's going to be perfect for our new baby bearded dragon.

Small but that's what I needed
Exactly what I needed for my rankin's dragon who will be here next week. Smaller, so I'd recommend for smaller or baby/juvenile reptiles. My pic is in a 36"x18"x18" enclosure for reference.

Is this safe to use for a CAG? Is there any attachment screwed into it anywhere so it can be attached to my bird's cage? He loves to climb on natural woods and this looks Awesome. Thanks
- I use this in my gerbil tank. There is no attachment for hanging but I think the piece we received is too large/heavy to attach to a cage.

Would this be good for hermit crabs
- Grapevine can mold in wet conditions. As you likely know, hermit crabs need around 80% humidity so I wouldn't risk using this.

How should I clean this? I've seen different methods but I'm not sure which one works
- Scrub with vinegar and water mixture then bake at 300 for 10-30 min or until totally dry. Vinegar and water is a good natural cleaner that will be non-toxic to animals, unlike soap or bleach.

- I don't know-I bought mine for my bird-it is a bit large for him-so I put it on a shelve on my balcony with English Ivy trailing around it.

Can this wood be safely used in an aquarium? Has anyone had any good results with it?
- Oh my goodness yes yes yes you will need to completely submerge them in water for up to five days so it will soak up water and sat on the aquarium bottom. They have wonderful wood to work with . Get the logs for 15.95 they are bigger than the gym and every one different. Enjoy!!!

Does this stand up on its own or does it have to be propped up against the wall of the tank or something? Need a climbing feature for 6 mo old arboreal tree frogs that won't fall over and squish them if someone jumps around on it too enthusiastically :/
- I purchased one for my 2 parakeets and they love it. Keep in mind that these are made of natural materials so each one will be different. Mine is flat at one end but I was afraid it would fall over when one of the birds jumped on it. I've laid it down which works good. I do still prop on end of it against the side of the cage just to be on the safe side. I hope this helps you. I waited frogs every year from frog eggs to frogs. Drove my parents nuts but the would walk down in the woods near our house and find a spot where there was a puddle big enough for frogs to lay eggs. I wish I had one of these back then because i know the frogs would have loved it and the frogs need a place to get out of the water and this is perfect.

would this be good for a leopard gecko to climb on?
- Yes, it has lots of texture and varied shape within the structure which I am sure a gecko would enjoy. It is also a natural product so no safety concern over chemicals, paint, etc. My daughter, as part of her job, has great success in feeding geckos when they are perching and basking on it.
