Actually I bought this toy for one of my parrots. He loves to play with some of the dog toys that are available and that I feel are safe for him, he has access only under supervision with toys that are not specifically for parrots.

Good for dogs who like to chew
I got this Leaps & Bounds Yellow Ring Dental Dog Chew Toy for my big dogs about a month ago. They have loved chewing on it. Since my dogs are extra large I thought this might be too small for them but they really seem to enjoy just squishing on it.

Durable and fun for dogs!
Great chew toy! I got this for a Pitbull mix that loves to chew stuff. He can destroy almost everything. Well, he has been enjoying chewing this ring chew toy and after a few weeks it hasn’t been destroyed yet. It shows some signs of wear already, but it has lasted longer than most of the chew toys I have gotten him in the past. The chew toy is durable and is definitely fun for dogs.

I got the Leaps & Bounds Yellow Ring Dental Dog Chew Toy for my beagle and it was the perfect size for her. She is an aggressive chewer and is happier when she has something to do. Also, keeps her out of trouble to have something. This chew ring is durable and fun and easy for her to carry and chew all day.

Dogs show no interest in this toy.
The toy itself is made well. It looks quite sturdy and durable however my dogs did not want to chew or play with this toy at all. I am not sure why since its chicken flavored as well as squeaky. It still lays in their toy bin not played with or chewed on unfortunately.

This chew toy is very durable. I have 3 very aggressive chewers that are over 55 pounds and this thing has held up nicely. Also, I love that this toy helps with their dental health. Great size and durable. They love it!

Strong and sturdy
The dogs all gathered around to get this toy, love the round shape because I can play catch with them. Material nice and strong to withstand heavy chewers like our boys. I was afraid it was going to have a strong smell to it due to the chicken but not at all.

Will small pieces of this toy break off when chewed? I know it says not for consumption. I bought a Nylabone and my maltipoo immediately chewed pieces off and wasn’t happy when I took it away.

This yellow dental ring is durable, however cannot promise that your dog will not chew pieces off if it has happened in the past with other toys.
