Can I get this 5-gallon tank in a white color?
Is this tank suitable for either a betta or a crayfish? Want to make sure the filter system isn't to strong for a betta.
- Filter system is suitable for betta's and crayfish. When the filter gets dirty, there is an overflow channel next to the filter that can cause a little current and a splash. Just remember to change out the filter before it gets dirty and you should be OK. I have a plant next to in intake tube and it does not effect my plant or my fish in anyway.

Would this tank be suitable to use for a shrimp tank? With a sponge filter over the intake of course.
- Yes, I use an intake sponge cover that I bought through Petco for $4. I have about 15 cherry shrimp in the tank because they keep breeding. Though I adjusted the flow so it's not strong. Plus, the sponge grows bio on it that the shrimp love to eat.

Can you add a heater and have the lif fit back on securely? On my other tank with a lid, fhe cord Sticks out and lid doesn't fit right.
- Yes, the hood is raised off the trim in the back so a cord can run out of it without being pinched.

We have a Betta baby girl fish. We have the Marina Betta EZ Care tank. We added more water to clean it (instructions say so) and now the water is cloudy and merky. Did we do something wrong?

I have a empty 5.5 and I planned on getting a baby betta the brand is Topfin. and I was just curious about the filter on it and if you think it would be to tough and blow the betta around or suck it into the filter. Hello, I have a betta and I'm sure he has moderate fin rot. Thing is I have him in a 1.1 bowl because I broke my bigger 2.5 gal tank. He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.

i have a question, we recently got glofish as a gift to my mother. I bought the water conditioner, food, plants and a volcano to decorate the tank, its a 5 gallon tank so they would have alot of room to swim. But all 5 fish, just stay at the bottom of the tank, occasional moving, not to full out swimming. the swim a bit for a few seconds and hide again under the plants or filter pump, in the back of the tank.
