Customer service is awful
The cage itself is fine, but the customer service I was offered was absolutely terrible. I won't be ordering anything online from Petco ever again.

It's an okay cage for the price on sale, but I definitely would prefer a critter nation or a ferret nation as far as durability and better built. Especially if buying at full price. If you buy for rats, you will have to wire the cage unless you have very big males.

Is the stand part removable?
Need cage for young, female rats. Questions... 1. What’s the bar spacing? Are there ANY gaps ANYWHERE larger than 1/2”? 2. Can “middle shelf” be removed easily (without cutting wires, etc) to create 1 big empty open space, & remain structurally sound? TY!
- My adult female can go straight between the bars! You would need to wire the whole cage for rats 🐀.
