Hello again! I got some advice from PetCoach earlier today on getting my senior, finicky kitty to not be so picky about his food and it was recommended to try a Small amount of the juice /water from canned chicken in his wet food. could I try a small amount of chicken broth ... low sodium of course because he does have hi blood pressure and takes medicine for it. If this is ok and he likes it, is there any harm in this in the long term? Thanks!!
My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. How to change your cats food
Tot has a nasal tumor and chicken and rice is the only thing she wants to eat that does not cause diarrhea. I want to keep giving her the chicken and rice, since she loves it, but I know this is not nutritionally adequate. She is still a happy dog, with the usual senior energy level. Can I add vitamins or a nutritional supplement to help ? She also takes vetmedin, Lasix, and Enalapril for heart disease. My regular vet suggested a nutritionist, but they want $400..
