We just tranferred Joey from a 40 Gallon Tank to a new 90+ Gallon Terrain... He seemed to be pretty happy till today. We noticed right before we changed tanks that he had some dark coloration on his left side and tip of his tail.. He was shedding at the time so we figured it was part of it.. I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

I have a problem with parrot fish tank , when after water change I used 1000mg erythromycin for prevention to fungus and bacterial infection for parrot fish , so i today mistakenly not running filter and heater ,after that I seeing that in a large quantities white micro parasitic or bacteria type in tank in a free swimming stage swim all over tank though what I do that in this condition please help me ?
