Where is the best place for me to put my bird cage?
I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?

I just bought my son 2 canarys because he was crying to have a bird but our cat is so fascinated with them, she keeps trying to grab them through the cage openings her paw fits through there! I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area.
