Love this helps for crystal clear water, use it in our sump

Not an expert but have goldfish that are 10 years old. They have outgrown a couple of tanks. Its getting harder and harder to keep the tank clean given their size. That said I use to use Chemi-pure just as a start up or a "deep" cleaning tool. Now its all I use. The time and money spent on cleaning and changing out charcoal bags and supplemental ammonia chips, etc. cost me more than using Chemi-pure regularly. Be friendly to yourself as you care for your pets.

I have used Chemi-Pure in four of my tanks from 20 gallons to 175 gallons. When multiple chemicals or additives will not balance your tank, try this great carbon, phosphate and nitrate remover. One additive for the filter and your water will balance.

I have used chemi-pure for at least 25 years now & would not set up a filter without using it! Being in a bag already is also very handy besides filtering out the harmful metals in the water. Also it lasts about 4 months of efficient use.
