I have been using this product, and every time I add this to my tank the ph drops drastically. I would not recommend buying this product

This product, like many others on the market does NOT remove Ammonia, it DETOXIFIES it into a livable form. The only two way to properly get Ammonia under control is to 1) Test your water supply first. If your TAP water or supply is high, you are just putting Ammonia in the tank. 2) Do water changes. As long as you do not do more than 50% changes, your fish won't shock. Make sure with each change you add a conditioner as you refill the tank. This product only makes it safe for the fish until you do get the Ammonia under control.

I'm not sure if this is what got rid of all of the ammonia or if it was this and another thing or two I did. But this definitely played a big part in the ammonia removal in my opinion. My fish are so much happier and I am too!

I've been using this as instructed for 2 weeks now. Doesn't work. Ammonia levels are still sky high. Every 4 days I've done a 50% water change, since the high ammonia levels were detected. Finally just gave up. Emptied the tank and cleaned everything. Put the fish in a temporary holding tank with bottled spring water and like 1 cup of the old aquarium water. Fish are looking great now. Now I just set my tank back up and used 20 gallons of jug spring water. Added biological booster. If water still test perfect, fish will go back in, in a few days. Pretty sure my tank was suffering from "old tank syndrome" even tho I faithfully vacuumed the gravel, replaced the filter and did a 30% water change, every month. This product does NOT help at all. You need to start completley fresh to eliminate "old tank syndrome" no product will help it.

So initially I thought this stuff was useless because I was still getting high ammonia readings on my parameter tests. However, the ammonia is converted in a way that’s safe for fish to be around but it’ll still show up on the parameter test, even if the ammonia is no longer a problem. The tests can’t differentiate between the ammonia and the compound this turns the ammonia into. Make sure you’re also doing 50% water changes and using this to treat a full tank after you do the changes.

I've gone through almost 2 bottles of this stuff in days trying to lower my ammonia and it's barley lowered it! I have clean water just changed out but ammonia was sky high right off. So still trying to get it down before doing another water change.

I have used this for almost three months as instructed. I even tested the water multiple times after each does. It does absolutely nothing to help ammonia levels. I even tested over a weeks time with daily dosage and my ammonia has gone up every day. Expensive water is what you get, because it does about as much as a bottle of plain water.
