Before starting use of All-For-Reef it is recommended to adjust your systems calcium, alkalinity and magnesium to your desired values. The 800 g can of All-For-Reef makes 5 liters of dosing solution, the 1600 g can is enough for 10 liters of dosing solution. To prepare the liquid mineral mixture, dissolve 6 level scoops (approx. 160 g) in approx. 900 ml of RO water, resulting in a total of 1 l of dosing solution. Start with a daily dose of 5 ml of All-For-Reef per 26 US-gal of aquarium volume. Increase the daily dosage weekly by 2.5 ml per 26 US-gal aquarium volume until you reach constant alkalinity and calcium concentrations. Once the dosage is established, and the system parameters are stable, testing on a regular basis will monitor your systems changes and needed dosage adjustments. We recommend not to exceed a daily dose of 25 ml of All-For-Reef per 26 US-gal of aquarium system volume.
Wear protective gloves. If the product gets into your eye please rinse consistently with water for several minutes.

Now with no fishes in the tank, what should I do next? I plan to get the water tested and plan not to add any new fish till 2-3 months? Anything that needs to be done during this phase? I have switched off all the power and filter in the tank. Thanks, Milton

Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
