Questions
So if this lowers ammonia and nitrates, does that mean it includes both aerobic and anaerobic bacterias?
- Here is the bacteria list from Tropical Aquariums Forum Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Bacillus subtilis Bacillus licheniformis Bacillus megaterium Bacillus circulans Bacillus pumilus Microbacterium sp. Rhodopseudomonas palustris Pseudomonas putida Pseudomonas stutzeri Pseudomonas citronellois Brevibacillus sp. Micrococcus sp. Rhodococcus erythropolis Rhodospirillum rubrum Nitrobacter winogradsky Clostridium nitrophenolicum Actinomyces griseus There is good information on this forum as well as Microbe lift's website but yes aerobic and anaerobic bacteria are present according to the referenced list.

I just purchased this and took it out of the box. The bottle has a lot of red sediment on the inside. I shook it for over a half hour and could not get it all mixed up. Is this normal?
- The sediments in this product are completely natural because one of the types of bacteria in this product are brown photosynthetic bacteria. You must shake the product before use so that the bacteria that have settled are evenly distributed in all the liquid, but They do not dissolve or disappear by shaking, and this does not cause a problem and is normal for this product. I have researched about this product and it was said that this product has gone bad at a time when it smells like burnt oil, otherwise it is healthy. Of course, the product itself has a very bad smell, which the company confirmed and said that it gives this smell because of special bacteria, and there is no problem.

What is the dosage for a 15 gallon tank?
- For a 15-gallon tank the initial dose day 1 add 15 mL For the next 4 Weeks (day 8, 15, 22, 29) add 10 mL A maintenance dose of 5 mL every other week should be done after that. If there are a lot of fish in the aquarium the maintenance dose of 5 mL should be done weekly.

How many doses are there in a 16oz bottle for a 10-gallon tank? I am comparing products and I'm wondering how long it will last if I just use it on a 10 gallon.
- For a 10 gallon tank you would use 15ml for the first dose, 10ml once a week for the next 4 weeks, then 5ml every other week for maintenance. Following that schedule you will still be using the product 1 year and 9 months later! Best to use a medicine dropper that will give you a perfect dosing

So I'm transferring my 10 gallon freshwater tank and fish over to a 29 gallon tank. I'll be adding the water.from the 10 gallon to the new tank. How should I use this product?
- Use the dosage rate for new tanks. I also recommend you add Microbe Lift Nite Out II along with the Special Blend when you introduce the fish to the new aquarium.

Can you use this product to newly cycle a tank for upcoming fish?
- Yes, I recommend using the whole bottle over the course of two days if you are adding fish immediately. This is the best way imo because the bacteria you are adding need ammonia which a brand new tank won’t have naturally. Adding fish will add ammonia. So adding one or two fish and using the bottle over the course of the first two-three days has always worked for me for the past 3 years.

I just bought this and the Xtreme water conditioner, can I put them in at the same time or do I have to put one in first and then wait to do the other ?
- Certainly do not C a problem as at some point they will B mixed together. If U want put one in a bucket & the other in the the next bucket of water.

Will this clean algae off rocks in a salterwater tank?
- No, this supplement supplies healthy bacteria to keep the nitrogen cycle under control. To clean algae you’re gonna want to reduce phosphates and nitrates. If your tank is new, it is normal to have algae for the first few months.

I have one betta fish and a 3.5 gal tank. I am new to this fish stuff (my son wanted a fish). Should I use this? I have a live plant that grows out of top of the tank, and I used water conditioner like the guy said. How much do I use?
- If you do not have carbon filtration, this product will increase amonia levels and harm your beta fish. If you use a heater and a carbon filter, than use the recommended amount or less. Do not keep a beta in a bowl unless the water is slowly flowing through carbon and floss, bubbles only will not do. If the water is still, the fish will die of amonia burns slowly, likely with or without the microbes anyway.
