In NEW TANKS Add 1 tsp. per 10 gal. every other day, until Ammonia level is acceptable. In ESTABLISHED TANKS add 1tsp. Per 10 gal. of tank water after every partial water change as well as every time new fish are added to the tank.

Not finished trying this product but I'm super excited with the results I have gotten so far from it. I'm currently trying to cycle 2 separate aquariums (both nano) and in 24 hours after adding Microbe-Lift Nite Out II I had 5ppm Nitrate reading in BOTH tanks! I'm very hopeful this product is going to cycle my tanks faster and make my fish more comfortable in the process. If this is true I will be keeping it on hand and using it every water change. In addition if I keep having reliable results with this one product I might switch to using Microbe-Lift aquarium water products exclusively in all my tanks, assuming Petco continues to carry them.

I used this with special blend because my nitrites went crazy. I had my tank stable in 2 days after 5 days levels wouldn't even pick up. Amazing product from microbe lift.

I have several aquarium and use a lot of different starter bacteria one of the problems is dead bacteria from shipping different climate zones . I have never had a problem with this product in my aquariums.

I went through an entire bottle of this also utilizing "Special Blend" as suggested. 3 weeks later I am waiting for mt Nitrites to appear to complete my cycle process. 75 gallon setup. Takes way to long to cycle. ammonia stays at .25. I have fish in there also. Doesnt go up or down. Have increased bioload and still nothing. Thought Id try it...wish i hadnt.

it says you have to turn your lights off after every dosage for 24 hours. So do i just never turn my lights on until the cycle is done or is it just after the first dose?
- That means every time you add it to the tank, turn the aquarium lights off for one day. After that turn it back on. May be helpful to cover it so it can be as dark as possible. You can of course still take care of your pets.

How much of this product needs to be used per 10 gallons?
- Add 1 tsp. (5 mL) per 10 gallons (38 L) of water every day until ammonia and/or nitrite levels are under control.
