In NEW TANKS Add 1 tsp. per 10 gal. every other day, until Ammonia level is acceptable. In ESTABLISHED TANKS add 1tsp. Per 10 gal. of tank water after every partial water change as well as every time new fish are added to the tank.

it says you have to turn your lights off after every dosage for 24 hours. So do i just never turn my lights on until the cycle is done or is it just after the first dose?
- That means every time you add it to the tank, turn the aquarium lights off for one day. After that turn it back on. May be helpful to cover it so it can be as dark as possible. You can of course still take care of your pets.

How much of this product needs to be used per 10 gallons?

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

I have a wolf fish that seems to be sick. He is upside down in the tank now for 24 hrs. He is still breathing but seems to bee struggling. I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . My year old has contracted either Ich or velvet. He is trying to scratch against his tank he has white patches but also when I've shined a light on him It also looks like he could have velvet. When I noticed his lethargy and his behavior I immediately transferred him into a smaller bowl to treat him with betafix (all I have until the pet shop opens covered his bowl to leave him in darkness His appetite is normal. I just cleaned my Betta fishes tank I put the same stuff as usual and a couple hours later he started just sitting at the bottom of the tank with his fins clamped together and now he's just sitting at the top and like vibrating his fins then clamping them shut again and I've noticed he lost a lot of his color
