My female betta fish contracted Ich last week, and I noticed it from a single white spot on her head. For the last 7 days I've been using Imagitarium's Parasite Remedy treatment in her tank, and when I bought it I was told it should only take a week, yet the little guy is still on her head. What else can I do?
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
Betta fish has ick near its eye
Hello, I have a betta and I'm sure he has moderate fin rot. Thing is I have him in a 1.1 bowl because I broke my bigger 2.5 gal tank. Ive been doing water changes and recently bought aquarium salt, bettafix, and Tail and Body Cure from API but I'm not sure how to use it in such a small tank w/o a heater... I know its such a bad environment but its not for long. I just need my betta to last a weak till I get a decent tank. Could you please give me a suggestion. I greatly appreciate your time.
Can I put a fish medication on my bettas fish bowl to prevent diseases or should I use something else?
My betta fish has fin rot, it’s progressing very fast. Within a day there’s a noticeable difference. He’s in a 55 gallon glofish tank(I tried multiple dividers and he kept escaping with no injuries) yesterday I put some betta fix medicine but it took the whole bottle, didn’t even get the desired dose for the tank. I have a 10 gallon for the betta but the stuff for nitrogen cycle is in the mail and I know it can take a long time. I’m not sure what to do. Thank you!
i need help treating my betta fish for swim bladder
Hi; I have a betta I purchased about 3-4 months ago. He started to get fin rot, so i purchased Bettafix and did a 100% water change. However since yesterday (first day with bettafix) he is lethargic; all day today he was at the top (by the heater which keeps his tank at 78 F) but now hes at the bottom. Looking almost lifeless. Is there any way I can save him?
Hello! I purchased a male koi betta from a Petco two days ago. He is currently living in a two gallon filtered aquarium. Yesterday I noticed him laying on the floor of the aquarium, but I assumed he was just sleeping. Today when I woke up he was covered in a sort of fuzzy substance, which I assume to be fungus, and still laying on the floor of the aquarium. Sometimes he will get up and swim around. I want to do something to prevent him from dying, but I don't know what to do. Please help!
My female betta has dropsy what can I get her
My betta fish is typically highly energetic and had a full, long tail. Recently, however, his eyes have become enlarged, almost bulging, and has had a white film over him. Just last night I noticed his tail is very sparse, so I ran out to get a medication for ich, treated the bowl, and he seems to be better today, swimming around instead of just laying on the bottom, and actually eating. I just want to ensure there's nothing else I should be doing. Thanks!
The fish has attacks of fast uncontrolled movement since we have it. Sometimes it hits itself on walls and objects. Lately it lays down on the floor on the side and rubs itself on objects. It got scratches all over and hurt his eye. It eats normally. No visible parasites, but seems something itches it on the skin. We bought Imagitarum Parasites Remedy, but hesitate to use it as some reviews say fish died of it. We also have shrimps and snails. Should we use the remedy?
