Thank you @influenster and @API for the opportunity to try this product in exchange for my honest opinion. This water conditioner is used to prepare tap water for the fish. When my water comes straight for the tap it is not safe to directly add to the tank. I typically let my water sit overnight before adding it to the tank. Now I don’t have to. The directions were easy to follow. I added the correct amount of conditioner for the water added. Then I add it to my tank without needing to wait. This is a wonderful product to use and have on hand when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you live in an area where tap water is fully chlorinated and full of heavy metals, as we do, and you wish to have a nice tank with healthy fishies, the API tap water conditioner is an absolute essential! We've been using it for years now and this is the absolute best. We have very little casualties and our fish are always healthy and thriving!

They even have a 1ml measurement which works out well for me because i have a 5 gallon tank! My fish are doing well with every water change!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a rural area with well water and this is the cleanest our water has looked when doing partial water changes. It doesn’t have a strong smell, it is easy to measure and the bottle close’s tightly. I recommend this for fish owners.

There’s no special trips to the store at the last minute. This bottle will last a long time with the small goldfish tank. I will be purchasing this in the future as well.

Adding it to your sink water before you water your plants lowers the chlorine. I will be using this both ways

Bettas are simply exotic looking freshwater fish, nothing special is required for bettas over other freshwater fish, other than isolation for males, females can be put in community tanks. so if it is safe for freshwater fish, it is safe for bettas.
