Questions
this dosnt come in bulk and I have a 5 gallon betta and a 10 gallon reef. Can I open the bags and mix with chemi pure. How much would I use?
- I have used a small amount of this and another small knee high stocking of purigan and have never had one problem or one speck of algae in my 19 gallon skimmer less tank! I have had it for almost 6 months; Also use polyfill on bottom of aqua clear!

I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.

my turtle's tank smells like chlorine please help
My pond goldfish had swim bladder issues so has been inside for 6 weeks. He was pretty active and I brought in another to keep him company. Since Feb 1st, he is at the bottom, eating a bit especially when I drop it right in from of him. No external signs of any disease that I can seen. Nitrites are high as tank is cycling. I am adding Prime, aquarium salt (1 gram) and 30% water changes. Nitrite converting bacteria is establishing now. Any thought on what it could be and what to do? Thank you
Hi Tony is on a kidney diet in his early stages of kidney disease and it’s not always easy to get him to eat it and I’ve tried every brand and flavor there is. My vet gave me some aluminum hydro powder phosphorus binder to put on his regular senior diet for those difficult times. I was hoping To get another opinion on this phosphorus binder ? Thanks
