Questions
this dosnt come in bulk and I have a 5 gallon betta and a 10 gallon reef. Can I open the bags and mix with chemi pure. How much would I use?
- I have used a small amount of this and another small knee high stocking of purigan and have never had one problem or one speck of algae in my 19 gallon skimmer less tank! I have had it for almost 6 months; Also use polyfill on bottom of aqua clear!

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

2 yr German Shepherd had been eating Hills Science Diet for the last week and a half or so... now seems lethargic, turns away from the wet food so he knows it's bad, stools are normal but softer. He eats the dry again in little bits with me near him. Reading recalls and freaked out. If anything I see Vit D toxity being a reoccurring topic. Sticking to cheap dry food, what other things to try? Currently I am using calcium sand. It doesn’t seem to be effecting Ash at all. Should I continue to use the sand or get something else such as eco earth?

He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
Noticed 12 yr. F. Lab Retriever having trouble releasing urine. Visit to vet for vaccine, felt dogs tummy and suggested ultra sound. Suggested immediate surgery because many stones seen. After surgery said most stones ever seen. I saw them, 15 lbs of stones. Says needs to be on Royal Canine Urinary SO dog food for life. She is not tolerating more than 1/2 her food being this food. Am mixing with her old food Blue Buffalo Senior. Now suggesting other Brand. Need special food for life?
