do the ball dissolve into the water and how long should i leave it in before adding in shrimps or fish

- This depends on the size of the tank and which PURE product you are using. PURE cannot be overdosed.

How long does the ball take to dissolve? I dropped it directly in the tank before reading reviews to put it in the filter. Would this pose a risk to a betta?
- It never will totally dissolve, but the time it takes to dissolve is directly related to fish load and the amount of sludge/debris in the tank. This is perfectly safe for a betta!

How long does it take for the cycle using this product for a new tank? I drop one in yesterday.
- Hey there! The PURE balls begin working immediately, but they do NOT used to “cycle” an aquarium. The product releases bacteria and enzymes into the aquarium which clear water and break down waste.

I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
All of my fish died after using a product purchased at Petco called ACUREL-F. How do I get their water safe to put in new fish?
Have 60 gal tank with 2 largish Ryukin goldfish, doing well together in this tank for several months. I added 3 times different smaller Ryukin from different sources, acclimated by floating bag method, put in the tank with the larger Ryukin. All new fish died within 3-5 days, w/ signs of swim bladder problem - not remaining upright, then dies. Water tests all zeros, using Safe, API proper ph 7.5 & bacteria. Temp 78. Tank cleaned often.. Eat soaked Hikari sinking mini pellets, peas. Ideas?

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Hi, So i am planning in keeping goldfish in my living room. I read that the tank need to be cycled 1-2 months before the fishes arrive. To introduce good bacteria in it. But I don’t want to wait that long, can i just put beneficial bacteria product sold in stores, will it be the same? Or is it best to just cycle the tank for 2 months first? My pond goldfish had swim bladder issues so has been inside for 6 weeks. He was pretty active and I brought in another to keep him company. Since Feb 1st, he is at the bottom, eating a bit especially when I drop it right in from of him. No external signs of any disease that I can seen. Nitrites are high as tank is cycling. I am adding Prime, aquarium salt (1 gram) and 30% water changes. Nitrite converting bacteria is establishing now. Any thought on what it could be and what to do? Thank you
