do the ball dissolve into the water and how long should i leave it in before adding in shrimps or fish

- This depends on the size of the tank and which PURE product you are using. PURE cannot be overdosed.

How long does the ball take to dissolve? I dropped it directly in the tank before reading reviews to put it in the filter. Would this pose a risk to a betta?
- It never will totally dissolve, but the time it takes to dissolve is directly related to fish load and the amount of sludge/debris in the tank. This is perfectly safe for a betta!

How long does it take for the cycle using this product for a new tank? I drop one in yesterday.
- Hey there! The PURE balls begin working immediately, but they do NOT used to “cycle” an aquarium. The product releases bacteria and enzymes into the aquarium which clear water and break down waste.

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

Hi, So i am planning in keeping goldfish in my living room. I read that the tank need to be cycled 1-2 months before the fishes arrive. To introduce good bacteria in it. But I don’t want to wait that long, can i just put beneficial bacteria product sold in stores, will it be the same? Or is it best to just cycle the tank for 2 months first? My pond goldfish had swim bladder issues so has been inside for 6 weeks. He was pretty active and I brought in another to keep him company. Since Feb 1st, he is at the bottom, eating a bit especially when I drop it right in from of him. No external signs of any disease that I can seen. Nitrites are high as tank is cycling. I am adding Prime, aquarium salt (1 gram) and 30% water changes. Nitrite converting bacteria is establishing now. Any thought on what it could be and what to do? Thank you

Yeah or nay on digestive enzyme supplement for cats? Been adding it to my 4 cats (age 1, 6, 8, n 9) moist and sometime dry food, a powder mix from Mercola cause i have been told that it will help but also have read articles that it wont. Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
Hello! I want to give my kitty probiotics with her antibiotics and after the course as well . I have one that has only lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacteruim longus ( 5 billion cfu each ) is this enough to help her ? Or is it better to get something with more strains ? Also , is it true that it's best to give in between meals because they get destroyed in stomach acids ? (I am not interested in fortiflora or other commonly prescribed reccs ,,Thank you !!
