do the ball dissolve into the water and how long should i leave it in before adding in shrimps or fish

- This depends on the size of the tank and which PURE product you are using. PURE cannot be overdosed.

How long does the ball take to dissolve? I dropped it directly in the tank before reading reviews to put it in the filter. Would this pose a risk to a betta?
- It never will totally dissolve, but the time it takes to dissolve is directly related to fish load and the amount of sludge/debris in the tank. This is perfectly safe for a betta!

How long does it take for the cycle using this product for a new tank? I drop one in yesterday.
- Hey there! The PURE balls begin working immediately, but they do NOT used to “cycle” an aquarium. The product releases bacteria and enzymes into the aquarium which clear water and break down waste.

I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

Yeah or nay on digestive enzyme supplement for cats? Been adding it to my 4 cats (age 1, 6, 8, n 9) moist and sometime dry food, a powder mix from Mercola cause i have been told that it will help but also have read articles that it wont. Hello! I want to give my kitty probiotics with her antibiotics and after the course as well . I have one that has only lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacteruim longus ( 5 billion cfu each ) is this enough to help her ? Or is it better to get something with more strains ? Also , is it true that it's best to give in between meals because they get destroyed in stomach acids ? (I am not interested in fortiflora or other commonly prescribed reccs ,,Thank you !!

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
