What is the best way to heat hedgehog cage with lamp?
I have a heat mat that ranges from 88-90 degrees for my leopard gecko but I know it can get pretty cold in the House can I use a (CHE)? If so how many watts is it recommended so my leopard gecko won’t get burn
I feel like Ash isn’t getting enough heat. What type of heating should I use?
came home from wk at 5pm noticed one of my girl fish lying side down on bottom of tank not breathing but gills still red i put her in a sealed contaner with air stone and plastic wrap around it trying to get her to breath again when i picked her up she felt very hot to the touch heater said 86 degress but she felt very hot like she was cooked to death the other fish are fine i did a water change immedatly filled w/warm water dechorild water how can i get her to breath again
What should I feed my red ear slider with shell pyramiding and how often? Also which heat lamp would you recommend?Picture 1 or 2?How many watts should I get for the heat lamp?
I have seen some articles that say overhead heat is best but I've also seen some that say it under tank heating is best where do you stand? The only thing they seem able to agree on is that heated rocks are bad
I live in Hawaii and was told that I didn’t need a heater for my baby beta fish. I still find my fish to be very lethargic and unable to swim properly. What should I do.
I think my betta fish went through cold shock and now may have a swim bladder issue. I bought a heater and changed the water. How can I further treat him? He has been eating on and off. He lays sideways at the top of the tank, and I think the bulge is possibly his swim bladder, as seen in the picture, and rapidly floats to the top when swimming. What can I do?
My gold fish is floating around like a ballon, not moving it’s fins and floating upside down and staying next to air pump.
I have a leopard gecko and it seems that the temperature in the tank isn't getting to what it needs to be. I have a heating mat and a thermostat and i have the heating mat highest up to 93 degrees. But the air inside on the warm side is only like 79 degrees how do I fix this I know that heating mats are the best for them but it isn't making my tank warm enough. Also, I know that heat lamps aren't the best since they aren't basking animals. So what should I do to make it warmer?
Is this tank big enough/small enough to hold goldfish fry (these fish will not be in it we are just cleaning up there other tank)
I just recently got a garden snail, does he need a heater at all? And is there anything I should do to make sure he stays healthy?
