Questions
Can I use more than 1 heater at the same time? I have a 20 gallon tank and am not finding a flat heater that is for 20 gallons.....
- Hi there! Yes, you can use more than 1 heater for your aquarium. If you need help figuring out the best combination for your tank feel free to give our team a call at 1-888-255-4527.

How does it work? Does it use batteries? Thank you very much.
- Has a standard American 120volt plug.

Can this stick to the outside of the tank and still heat the water inside slightly?
- no, it has to be immersed in the water to be effective.

Does this have adjustable temperature control, or is it "fixed"
- Fixed - you cannot adjust temp at all. I use it in a tank that holds 5 gallons and it keeps temp at 78-79 degrees

What temperature does this heat the water to? I'm looking for something that will effectively heat my 3.5 gallon tank to somewhere around, if not exactly, 78 degrees.
- 78

I read many reviews about where to place heaters and most of them say don't put them at the bottom under the gravel or substrate. However, yours says it could be placed at the bottom. Can you place them at the bottom of the tank under the substrate?
- It is referring to the bottom below the outtake hose, between the substrate and hose. This is not designed for under substrates( grave). This is in a 5gallon . Thanks and have a Blessed Day.

I recently bought this tank warmer for my fish. Do I need to take it out once my tank is warm or do I just keep it in there?
- Keep it in there to keep the temp regulated

My turtle heater stopped working. Can I use this type of heater at the bottom of the tank until the new one arrives? I have one from an old betta tank.
- if used in a Turtle Tank; the heater must be submersed fully in water; heater cannot be used on land; rocks;

What would the temperature be if I put this in a five gallon tank??
- I have it in a 3G betta tank, never checking the temp. Theoretically, the temp stays locked at 78 degrees. With 5G, It would take longer than my 3G. If the pull up difference is too large (super cold room), it would not be able to pull it up, needing a larger heater (of course). So far, it’s been great. My Nerite snail crawls on it, keeping it clean.

I put the heater in my tank about 12 hours ago and it is still at room temperature (maybe just a little bit above it). Does it just take a long time to heat the tank? I have a 5.5 gallon tank. Or is there something wrong with it?
- I too have that same problem so I just called the company. They told me it could take 13 hours or longer to see a difference in water temp. That's ridiculous does not say that on Petco site or in paperwork now I have to go back to the store again tomorrow don't waste your money
