Worked great but sometime in the last month it died. I’ve had it less than a year. Thankfully I noticed the lack of condensation on my lid when I fed my fish.

No, I do not recommend this product.

dead after two weeks

i bought one of these two weeks ago and it was great when it was working. then, a couple days ago i noticed the temperature dropping in my betta's tank. i adjusted the temp knob at the top thinking perhaps the winter season is just making the tank a lil colder and the heater needed to work harder but when i came home from work that evening, the temp was lower than when i left that morning. i unplugged the heater and plugged it back in and the red indicator light never came on. i literally just bought the heater and will have to wait til i get paid again to get another heater. i do not recommend this product. if anyone has had this experience, please tell me which heater you replaced this heater with cuz im not wasting $ on this again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I brought this product a few days ago placed in a 5.5 gallon tank. DOES NOT work. The labeling says preset to 78 degrees but my tank hasn’t reached above 72 degrees. Terrible product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Does not work well

I’ve had these heaters in the tanks for one week now (the recommended heaters for my tank size) and every time I’ve checked the water temperature it is only a few degrees higher than room temperature rather than the 10 degrees that the box claims to raise it. I can’t blame it on a faulty heater since it’s 2 heaters in different tanks. If you have to use this brand, get a higher wattage than recommended. I would rather take these back and get a more expensive heater with better reviews instead.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

If I live in a house that stays at 60-75 degrease and I am planing on getting a betta fish for a five gallon tank would you recommend this heater?

  1. Betas need 75-80 degrees, so for a 5 g tank, you can use a lower wattage heater, since you dont need alot more heat.

Question the aqueon submersible aquarium heater 50w sometimes have condensation ?

  1. Hi! We appreciate your message. We would like to help, but need a few more details. Please call our friendly Consumer Care team at 1-888-255-4527 so we can better assist you.

What size heater should I buy for 37 gallon tank ?

  1. I would use the Aqueon Pro 150 watt for up to 55 gallon tank

Are they all this massive bulky super inconvenient size, or do you sell more appropriately sized ones

  1. I'm not sure what size tank you have but I have mine in a 20H and a 29 and they aren't at all massive or bulky for those size tanks.

What is the length of the Aqueon Submersible Aquarium Heater, 50 Watts?

  1. Hey there! It is 10.375 inches.

Hi, will this heater work okay if placed in the spare area of a filter of a tank? The area is partly enclosed in plastic. I’m planning to buy the TopFin Indulge 3 Gallon, and put a heater where the filter cartridge would go.

  1. I have mine in the extra filter space in my fluval 5 gallon and it works just fine!

What are the dimensions for *ALL* the wattages, please and thank you

  1. Hi there! We want to ensure that we're properly understanding your question. Please contact us directly at 1-888-255-4527. We're here to help!

What is the temperature range?

  1. probably 70 to 85 , but it should show on the end of heater wher control adjustment is.

What size suction cups are those? Let me know. Thanks.

  1. Suction cup is about 1/2" and the heater is horrible. I literally just replaced it as it couldn't even heat my 1 gallon hospital tank to 75* and keep it there. It is supposedly a preset but the temperature never stayed level. I threw it in the trash.

Other than price, what is the difference from this 300W heater and the other one? Both of them are adjustable, but the packing is different. Also this one has the warning about cancer along with the 200W and 150W, but the other 300W does not?

  1. We'd be more than happy to assist you with this inquiry. We kindly encourage you to contact us directly at 1-888-255-4527 so our friendly Consumer Care team can ensure that all of your questions have been properly answered.
