Want to adopt a reptile that enjoys handling so you can spend a lot of quality time with your new pet? You have many great options. One of the friendliest reptiles is the bearded dragon. When socialized properly, “beardies” can enjoy interacting with humans. Some beardies are happy to sit in their pet parent’s lap for hours or chill next to them on the couch.
Leopard geckos and blue-tongue skinks can also be docile when they get the proper amount of handling. Corn snakes, king snakes and ball pythons all do well when handled with the right amount of socialization. They can also be curious and active, slithering along your arms and shoulders to explore their environment.
Finally, if you have enough space, green iguanas can be very friendly with the right care and attention. Some pet parents are even comfortable giving iguana free reign in the household and walking them outdoors.

Would reptaid help for a baby sulucta tortoise which I think has runny nose syndrome?
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
Hi! We went to a reptile expo this past Saturday and fell in love with a northern blue tongue skink. We ended up bringing him home with us. Upon closer inspection we noticed he has a couple small little bumps on his scales. All we know about him is he is a adult male Northern. The seller said he’s a couple years old but didn’t know for sure. He is really the sweetest little big lizard! Is this reason for immediate concern? Hoping you can help!
How much pellets and green leaf lettuce should I feed my red eared slider with pyramiding and a soft shell? How often?Once a day? Once two days? Also if I was to get a ceramic dome for heat what kind of bulb should I buy?
What snakes are the easiest to care for as a first-time owner?
I have a baby red eared slider a friend bought from Chinatown then couldn’t keep. I believe it’s about 1-2 months old as it wasn’t even old enough to eat when I recieved it. I have him set up in a filtered tank with a dry rock area and some caves in the water that he likes to sit on. He’s developed a couple small white spots on his shell and I’m worried that it’s some kind of infection but I also don’t know if he’s maybe starting to shed his shell.
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
How should you care for your reptile during a power outage?

Hello my name is Cheyenne! I have owned my Yellow Bellied slider since it was a hatchling, so a little over six years. It is 8 1/2-9 inches long. So he/she is a pretty big! So I have a couples of questions that I hope you can help answer... 1. It needs a bigger tank, it is in I think a 20-30 gl right now which is to small. I have been looking for a normal glass one but can’t find any that are in my price range and can’t seem to find any used for the size I am looking for. I have been looking in
