Questions
Would this be good mixed with Eco Earth for a Red Milk Snake?
- I mix them together all the time for my ball python

How often should I change this substrate if I’m using it on a box turtle
Can I use this substrate for my Texas Giant Golden Millipedes?
- No, actually a mix of coco coir and play sand will be better. Forest floor is basically just cypress mulch. I use it for things that aren't burrowing or are stronger, like my tortoise. I keep Golden Sonorans too and they do pretty well with that. Even better is to put dried oak leaves, oak twigs, rotting oak material in the substrate as well. Be sure to mix a bit of capsicum powder in as well.

Could i use this for a crested gecko tank?
- I don't see why you can't. I use it for my lizards and box turtles.

is this stuff good for giant day geckos?
- My understanding the forrest floor is not good for geckos. I would say contact a reptile specialist or two (different opinions) to find out what to use. There are several reptile experts out there.

Hi is this good for a box turtle? We had dirt for the floor, but are upgrading his habitat, and want to make it more homey for him
- Yes! I have used this substrate for my russian tortoise. I personally prefer coconut coir because the forest floor bedding has a tendency to dry out quicker. Just make sure to mist it everyday.

Can this be used with the Eco Earth plus moss to make a good substrate for a juvenile leopard gecko? I have no problem spraying it as necessary. Could I also plant succulents in it? Thanks!
- I will add though, that a good wet hide substrate, stays moist and hold water well, is coconut fiber. But again it's only suitable for in the wet hide.
