Feed to juvenile or adult turtles one time per day, 3-5 times per week. For best results, feed only the amount that the turtles will consume in one day. Should be scattered on the water, where it will float. The turtles will eat this for 15-20 minutes and then bask for a period of time. The remaining food will break up and sink to the bottom. The turtles will return later to continue feeding. Store in a cool, dry place.
Thoroughly wash feed and water bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals.

Questions
I know beef heart isn't a good choice all the time, but as of right now her nose is up to anything else. Is this good for extremely picky eaters
- Honestly, my turtle would not touch it. He wanted nothing to do with it.

My turtle is a female 10" RES and EXTREMELY picky. Won't eat greens, won't eat most pellets, for a while she ate reptomin sticks, but won't know... She was eating frozen blood worms, and frozen SFB. Is it good for her
- My turtles love the Mazuri food. I have used Mazuri for some years now and they loved it from the very 1st time I fed Mazuri. Also appear to be very healthy and growing.

How many pellets should I feed my Common Musk Turtle
- I don't know how this advice may differ for Common Musk Turtles, but for red eared sliders, you can feed Adults every 2nd day: Feed your turtle an amount of food (can be pellets) equal to the size of their empty head. Also, freely feed greens as often as you like. If they are not hungry, they are probably being over-fed, so cut back a little.

How often should I feed my red eared sliders and how much? They are still babies, not even a year old yet.
- Since they are babies would feed them food for youth red sliders. This food is good for adults.

Does this food break down in the water so that juvenille turtles can eat it, or is it available in a juvenille form?
- Hi Zawadi, The Mazuri Aquatic Turtle Diet should be fed to juvenile or adult carnivorous turtles. The diet should be scattered on the water, where it will float. Moreover, there is no available form for this Aquatic turtle food.
