Feed to juvenile or adult turtles one time per day, 3-5 times per week. For best results, feed only the amount that the turtles will consume in one day. Should be scattered on the water, where it will float. The turtles will eat this for 15-20 minutes and then bask for a period of time. The remaining food will break up and sink to the bottom. The turtles will return later to continue feeding. Store in a cool, dry place.
Thoroughly wash feed and water bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals.

I have a red eared slider who is 1 and a half year old. The commercial pellet box suggests that I feed my turtle twice as much as she can eat. Should I follow this, however even if I give 20 pellets at a time, my turtle eats it.

I have 3 red slider turtles. I been having them for over 6 months now and they are starting to become picky eaters. 2 of them are wild and 1 is from the per store. I tried three different brands and kinds of food and they only eat the dried shrimp. Is ok to make the dried shrimp their only food or do I need to try and incorporate more nutrition in their diet and how?
Wat should I feed my soft shell turtle???
my red eared slider doesn't eat the prescribed food amount by the container. i've checked for respiratory infection, and he has none. please help
Hi, What specific type of the Oxbow Critical Care formula would you suggest for a box turtle that is not eating? I see they have different types. Does that have to be given orally or could this be mixed with water in a container where you can soak the turtle so that she gets those nutrients. How many times per week would you use the formula? Thanks so much
Can my red eared slider have brine shrimp it has brine shrimp, water, and guar gum
How often should I feed my turtle? She is a young red eared slider. She is 3 in a half years old. And I'm new to this. I've been told by a different vet to feed her everyday once a day. But not sure how many pellets to feed her. I used to feed her 20 pellets of a brand that came from PetSmart. That they recommended. Since I'm on low in come. She is 5.5 inches. And not sure what to do with the amount I should feed feed her.
