This is the perfect treat to make sure Oscar gets all protein needed to keep him happy and healthy. It’s packed with all the worms and bugs he LOVES. Great when you can’t find live ones as well.

Love it, but too many mealworms

I used to give this to my bearded dragon when I didn't have live insects on hand. It is a great product in general, but I wish they had a product line that was healthier. My beardie is quite overweight and the vet told me I need to remove all worms from his diet, even though he gets daily exercise (of course nothing like in the wild). If you're feeding an adult beardie, do not leave this food in the enclosure! It's like leaving a pile of McDonalds in there.

Yes, I recommend this product.

After a few days I had a less than pleasant surprise opening my jar up to find live larvae wiggling around. Not a happy camper :(

I call this chips for my babies! They love them and crunch them like chips. We give our beardies live bugs and fresh veggies for a good balanced diet. These are a yummy treat for them!

Good for Chameleons?

Would this be sufficient for feeding insects to either a leopard gecko or beardie? I am against feeding live food so this is really my only option. Or I may just not get a beardie or gecko. Any advice is appreciated.

    1. Hi, an alternative for you might be a crested gecko or gargoyle gecko. We have both & also a leopard. The leopard eats mostly meal worms and some crickets, she doesn't like to chase crickets, she's fat and we've had her a long time. We have a young beardie, she loves live crickets and meal worms, I was looking at this for her for times when we run out of live ones until I get to the store. There isn't a lot of nutritional info on it, I don't know if they could survive solely on this. Why I suggest a crested or gargoyle is that ours live on a powdered food from Pangea Reptile. You mix it with water to like a baby food consistency, it's a complete diet , comes in many flavores, with or without insects. I buy it on line, stores around here don't have it. They prefer it over Zoomed or Rapashy brand. My geckos love it and we've had them for many years also. All my critters act and look very healthy. A good thing about geckos is they don't require any special heating or lighting unlike beardies. I hope this helps you.
