Is this good for turtles?

Andre dub

I have two African sulcatas in a 40 gal terrarium . I have this terrarium must all over the place. The turtles are under a year old and don’t eat it . They love the texture and seems to be out more due to the moisture I believe. Is this moss good for them or will The Moss start growing bacteria?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disgusting and old. Moss was dry and some of it was grey colored. Moss was so old that it crumbled. Package must have been a return because you could see it had been opened prior to me receiving it. I returned it to the store.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is a good product with a few flaws. First of all, the dead crickets can't be seen very well in it. Also, it smells kind of bad the first few days. Lastly, there are sticks and leaves that you have to remove from it. Overall it's not a bad product though.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Perfect!

Acrochordidae

The perfect fully-submersible, biological, mechanical and chemical filter for low-level environments, such as for my Acrochordids (Wart/Trunk/File Snakes) which cannot hunt well in waters deeper than 15-25% of their length. I bypass the chemical filtration due to using Kent Marine Black Water Expert which the charcoal would otherwise suck out of the water. Moderate flow even at full strength which is perfect for simulating Acrochordids’ naturally “stagnant” waters.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I’m thinking of getting a crested gecko would this be good to put in the enclosure on top of soil just to age. And be nice. I wanna make sure I can use this for a crested gecko and that I’m gonna have a good enclosure

    is this live moss?

    1. Yes. I think it is.

Would this be good for my Chinese water dragon? He’s missing an arm (rescued him like this) and I feel like he needs softer terrain.

    1. I use this product in my Pac-Man frog tank and keep it moist.  It is soft, non-abrasive, so it should work fine for the water dragon. Wish you the best on keeping your little friend safe and thriving.

Is this safe for hermit crabs? And are all the kinds of moss types safe for them or just certain kinds?

Can I grow it outside the shaded garden as ground cover?

Can I grow my venus flytrap in this?

Should I buy this for my mud turtle?

          1. They will probably like it but if you have a filter it will clog it up

Should I buy this moss for my pet garden snails??

          1. Yes they like to burrow in it and lay eggs

what kind of substrate should i use for my leopard gecko?

should i put this moss for substrate or just the humid hid?

            1. It’s better if used to keep up humidity like in a humid hide or just around the enclosure. Not necessarily good to use as substrate. Depending on the animal, coconut fiber is a pretty good substrate. Do your research!
