can this be a comeplete diet for a hermit crab, should i just use fresh fruits and vegetables along with some meats (like dried mealworms), or is it just treats?
- The Hermit crab Fruit-Salad should not be used as a primary diet, it can be used as a treat. We do make a pelleted Hermit Crab food that can be used as your primary diet and then you can add in the fruit periodically.

Does the Hermit Crab Fruit Salad contain copper sulfate? What are the ingredients in it? Where is it produced?
- Ingredients: dried apples, dried cranberries, dehydrated mango. So 100% natural ingredients with no preservatives! one of the most recommended commercial hermit crab food/treats. Great option and very smart for mentioning copper sulfate, not a lot of people on the dangers to hermit crabs. Also all zoo med foods are produced in America! Hello! I have a bearded dragon, who hates veggies and fruits. I have a mix of dried veggies with calcium and dried bugs, at the pet store, I got a can of shrimp that's for reptiles and turtles, is this safe to feed one shrimp on top of his salad to entice him a bit? Thanks
I recently got some hermit crabs. The nearest pet store to me is an hour away so I made a visit to purchase supplies. But I didn't get as much substrate as I needed, unfortunately. I was planning to go and get more when I had the chance. But I believe my largest crab is molting, it's trying to dig underground but there's not yet enough substrate for him to really bury himself yet. I know you should not bother a molting crab, but if I buy more substrate should I put it in there with him or wait
