Wat should I feed my soft shell turtle???
Hello i have a question about my red slider turtle. He has been with me ever since i was 5 and i never took care of it as much until now that im older and i have its lamp and heater and clean water and everything but i jus still dont know what to give him for food. I give turtle food and like berries and crickets but idk how much a day or when i should feed him. Thank yoj
I have a turtle I got as a hatchling whose shell has started to curve. I’ve read this could be due to too much protein, too weak of uv/uvb lights, or a combination that makes him grow too fast for the shell to keep up. I’m going to the pet supply store to get a new bulb tomorrow and he eats feeder fish as well as a variety (gold fish food he steals, dry meal worms, pellets from two different brands) of dry foods. How can I help him better?
How much pellets should i feed my turtle?
What should I feed my red ear slider with shell pyramiding and how often? Also which heat lamp would you recommend?Picture 1 or 2?How many watts should I get for the heat lamp?
I have a red eared slider who is 1 and a half year old. The commercial pellet box suggests that I feed my turtle twice as much as she can eat. Should I follow this, however even if I give 20 pellets at a time, my turtle eats it.
Why my red eared turtle not eating
How often should I feed my turtle? She is a young red eared slider. She is 3 in a half years old. And I'm new to this. I've been told by a different vet to feed her everyday once a day. But not sure how many pellets to feed her. I used to feed her 20 pellets of a brand that came from PetSmart. That they recommended. Since I'm on low in come. She is 5.5 inches. And not sure what to do with the amount I should feed feed her.
My red eared slider turtle is hiding constantly staying under the rock and filter and he’s not sunbathing I’ve had him for 2&1/2 years and he hasn’t grown a whole lot, I’ve only been feeding him 3-4 “floating reptile sticks” every day since then. I’m worried about the little guy should I be feeding him more or something else also I don’t know if his tank is ideal for his species I’ve never met anyone else with a turtle and I haven’t had anyone to get advice from. Red eared slider will only eat treats and not pellets
