I usually buy all purpose ones. This song bird one has more sun flower seeds than small round seeds. Blue jade, squirrel and song birds seem like it.

Excellent bird food. I have blue jays, towhees, finches, blackbirds, woodpeckers, martins, doves, flickers, chickadees, etc. all enjoying my feeder. They love all the sunflower seeds, and will clean out the small seeds also.

Quality bird seed; it has no milo…a very popular filler that none of my neighhorhood birds will eat. Not sure why artificial cherry essence has been added. Makes the seed smell sweet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying out this seed mix has really made a difference in the number of beautiful birds hanging out near our back patio. We have lots of trees in our back yard which means lots of birds - and I’ve been using this seed in my new “squirrel proof” bird feeder. I’ve seen all kinds of small birds, cardinals, and blue birds loving this mix. I like that the offer of seed in this and my other feeder also seems to be helping keep the birds and squirrels from messing with my veggie garden as much as they used to! The seed is priced well at this bulk size and packaged well so you don’t have to worry about the bag ripping. I store mine in plastic bin with a scoop in the garage and it makes keeping my feeder topped up a cinch. I would highly recommend trying this mix to attract (and distract) the songbirds in your yard.
