Questions
I have two Macaws and two Greys that have been on Kaytee fruit pellets for atleast 15yrs,i would love to add this soft food to their pellet diet. They also eat fresh fruit vegs, and some people food with restrictions. ie: no salt sugars etc. Thank you for
- My 29 yr old umbrella cockatoo is a picky eater and hesitant to try new foods. I added this soft food to her diet and she has been eating it, slowly, but at least she is eating it. The packaging is nice and seems to keep the pellets fresh.

Are there samples that you can send of this soft food? How long can it be in the food dish? Will it become hard sitting out in the dish?
- I haven't seen any samples available. The pellets are similar to a "chewy" type dog treat, so it is not wet, more dough-like. It will get hardened as it stays exposed to air, so I would offer in morning and dump at evening. It smells fruity, but my conure didn't take to it.
