What types of fish should I buy because I'm a beginner in this . I have a 1 feet tank . One more thing I have heard that live-bearers could be best But I want your suggestion. Hi I'm really scared because I went to my boyfriends parents house and I left my sister to look after my 7 Fish and she sent me a photo and I saw (HEAPS) of food layers on the to and I had to cut my holiday short my 11 days and I get back to sad babies (My Fish) and their usually happy swimmers and I put one Flake of Fish food that's all and they didn't eat it or look at it I did a water change clean filters nothing in sitting here choking cause I'm crying. Sorry if I'm being dramatic

Going to be bringing a few guppies home, probably all females for simplicity sake. We have the 10 gallon tank, master test kit, heater, filter, some Omega One guppy food, and the proper decorations. But I would like to know any tips on how to safely bring them home in my car. (We still have to cycle the tank, so no rush.) We will be getting them from an actual pet store, definitely no Walmart or Meijer fish as those tend to be much less healthy.
We have Christmas decorations up which include garland and Christmas tree. One of my cats just throw up 4 times in a row and you can see green stuff in the vomit. Not sure if it’s poisonous or if he’s going to be okay now.

I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
